Project Description

The North American Food Systems Network needed a logo re-design that was modern and could be used in a variety of ways. They wanted the design to capture the organization’s values of networking, growth, and community, while projecting the idea of “food systems,” not just “food.”

The new logo mark uses simple geometric shapes in the form of a microphone, representing ideas of networking and an amplification of voices. The mark is also a symbol of rain falling on farm land, representing growth, provision, and replenishment, symbols that work across the food systems industry and in professional development. Furthermore, its circular shape evokes feelings of community and unity.
